Jim Corbett National Park, located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India, is the oldest national park in the country. Established in 1936, it was initially named Hailey National Park and later renamed in honor of the legendary hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett. The park spans over 520 square kilometers and is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including the majestic Bengal tiger, elephants, leopards, and a variety of bird species
The park’s lush landscapes, dense forests, and serene rivers make it a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife photographers. DAYWISE TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Delhi - Jim Corbett
Start your journey from Delhi early in the morning. The distance between Delhi and Jim Corbett National Park is approximately 240 kilometers, and the road trip usually takes around 5-6 hours. Check-in at your chosen resort or hotel in Ramnagar. After a delicious lunch, relax and prepare for your first safari.
Embark on an afternoon jeep safari in the park, starting around 2:00 PM. Explore the rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. Return to your resort by 6:00 PM and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Exploring Jim Corbett
Begin your day with an early morning safari at 6:00 AM. This is the best time to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. The safari lasts until 9:30 AM. Return to your resort for breakfast and some leisure time. After lunch, head out for another safari from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Explore different areas of the park and try to spot various wildlife species. Return to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Jim Corbett - Delhi
After breakfast, visit the Garjiya Mata Temple, a popular attraction near the park. Check out from your resort and start your journey back to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi by late afternoon, concluding your memorable trip to Jim Corbett National Park.
