The city is part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, which includes Delhi and Agra, making it a popular destination for travelers.
Some of the must-visit attractions in Jaipur include the Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace with a unique honeycomb structure; the Amber Fort, a magnificent fort overlooking Maota Lake; the City Palace, a royal residence with museums and courtyards; and the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with impressive instruments. DAYWISE TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Delhi - Jaipur
Start your journey from Delhi early in the morning. The distance between Delhi and Jaipur is approximately 280 kilometers, and the road trip usually takes around 5-6 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your chosen hotel or resort in Jaipur. After a delicious lunch, take some time to relax and soak in the vibrant surroundings. In the evening, explore the iconic Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace with a unique honeycomb structure. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the bustling markets of Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar, where you can shop for traditional Rajasthani handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles.
Day 2: Exploring Jaipur
Begin your day with a visit to the Amber Fort, a magnificent fort overlooking Maota Lake. You can reach the fort by taking an elephant ride or a jeep ride. Explore the fort’s impressive courtyards, palaces, and temples. Afterward, head to the City Palace, a royal residence with museums and courtyards showcasing the rich history and culture of Jaipur.
