Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur is a city rich in history, culture, and architectural marvels. The city is part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, which includes Delhi and Agra, making it a popular destination for travelers.

Some of the must-visit attractions in Jaipur include the Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace with a unique honeycomb structure; the Amber Fort, a magnificent fort overlooking Maota Lake; the City Palace, a royal residence with museums and courtyards; and the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with impressive instruments. The city’s markets, such as Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar, are perfect for shopping for traditional Rajasthani handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles.

DAYWISE TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Delhi - Jaipur

Start your journey from Delhi early in the morning. The distance between Delhi and Jaipur is approximately 280 kilometers, and the road trip usually takes around 5-6 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your chosen hotel or resort in Jaipur. After a delicious lunch, take some time to relax and soak in the vibrant surroundings. In the evening, explore the iconic Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace with a unique honeycomb structure. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the bustling markets of Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar, where you can shop for traditional Rajasthani handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles.

Begin your day with a visit to the Amber Fort, a magnificent fort overlooking Maota Lake. You can reach the fort by taking an elephant ride or a jeep ride. Explore the fort’s impressive courtyards, palaces, and temples. Afterward, head to the City Palace, a royal residence with museums and courtyards showcasing the rich history and culture of Jaipur. Next, visit the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with impressive instruments. In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the Nahargarh Fort, which offers panoramic views of the city. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit the Jal Mahal, a beautiful palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Take some time to enjoy the serene surroundings and capture some memorable photographs. Next, explore the Albert Hall Museum, which houses an extensive collection of artifacts and artworks. Before heading back to Delhi, make a stop at the Birla Mandir, a stunning temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
