DAYWISE TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive Coachin
On arrival meet and assist at Cochin airport by our representative and proceed to hotel. On arrival complete the check in formalities. Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin Tour
Post breakfast enjoy cochin sightseeing tour visit Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace – built by Portuguese, spice market, St. Francis church & Chinese fishing nets. Evening enjoy the most popular classical dance show known as “Kathakali” (Direct payment). Also explore local market. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Cochin.
Day 3: Cochi - Aleppy by Drive
Post breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Alleppey (5hrs. approx.) backwater. The charm of Kerala lies in its back waters that are peculiar in the total globe. On arrival check in at houseboat & enjoy the cruise with all meals, tea snacks. Get a glimpse of local village life while enjoying the backwaters of Kerla, an unforgettable experience. Capture the view of Sunset into your camera. Overnight in houseboat in Alleppey.
Day 4: Alleppy - Periyar by Drive
Post breakfast disembark from houseboat and proceed to Periyar / Thekkday by drive (5hrs. approx.), on arrival check in at hotel. .). Periyar – It is a significant Elephant & Tiger reserve, which is often called Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary or Thekkady. Afternoon enjoy boat ride(direct payment) in Periyar Lake and watch out varied animals & birds such as wild boar, dear, tigers, elephants and many more during your visit in Periyar National park. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Periyar / Thekkady.
Day 5: Periyar - Madurai by Drive
Post breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Madurai (4hrs. approx..). On arrival check in at hotel. Madurai – is an ancient and energetic city in South Indian state of Tamil Nadum which is located at Vaigai River. The city has a number of historical monuments, it is also an important educational & Industrial hub of Tamilnadu state of India. Overnight at hotel in Madurai.
Day 6: Madurai - Trichey by Drive
Post breakfast check out from hotel and enjoy the city tour of Madurai. The most prominent temples to be visited are Meenakshi Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati and her consort Lord Shiva, now visit Tiumalai Nayak Palace. Now proceed to Trichy by drive (3hrs. approx..), on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Trichy.
Day 7: Trichy Tour
Post breakfast enjoy Trichy sightseeing covering Ranganatha Vishnu Temple. Here you can view the religious ceremony of people performing last death rites of the persons dead on the bank of River Cauvery . Then climb the 437 steps to the 83m high Rock Fort and Ranganatha Temple , also visit Jambukeshwara temple. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Trichy.
Day 8: Trichy - Pondicherry by Drive
Post breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Pondichery by road, enroute visit Thanjavur – is a city in South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Thanjavur is an important center of South Indian religion, art, and architecture. It is an important pilgrim centre and a major tourist destination of Tamil Nadu. Its many temples include the 11th-century Brihadeeswarar Temple, a vast Chola dynasty–era complex with a frescoed interior . Brihadeshwar temple and fort, Thanjavur Palace and Museum are the worthseeing over there. Continue drive to your destination, on arrival check in at hotel. Pondicherry – is a popular tourist destination of South India. It has many colonial buildings, temples, churches and statues which combined with the systematic town planning and planned French style avenues still preserve much of the colonial ambiance. Overnight at hotel in Pondicherry.
Day 9: Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram by Drive
Post breakfast check out from hotel. Enjoy sightseeing tour of Pondicherry , visit extensive Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Matri Mandir at Auroville, an evolving city . Now drive to Mahabalipuram (2hrs. approx.), on arrival check in at hotel. Mahabalipuram – It’s known for its beautiful temples and monuments built by the Pallava dynasty in the 7th and 8th centuries, religious monuments in the coastal resort town of Mamallapuram in Tamilnadu, Southern State of India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site as well. Overnight at hotel in Mahabalipuram.
Day 10: Mahabalipuram Tour
Post breakfast you will leave for city tour on day 3 of your South India tour. The places to be visited are Five Rathas, Arjuna Dhabas, Krishna Mandap, Krishna Butterball and Shore Temple. Now proceed back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Mahabalipuram.
Day 11: Mahabalipuram - Chennai by Drive
Post breakfast check out from hotel an proceed to Chennai by road (1.5hrs. approx..), enroute visit Kanchipuram which is about 78kms (1.5hrs. approx. by drive), which is an ancient city of Tamilnadu state of India, you are going to explore the most popular temples here includes, Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple and Varadharaja Perumal Temple which are some main Hindu temples over here. Kanchipuram is a traditional centre of silk weaving and handloom industries for producing Kanchipuram Sarees. On arrival check in at hotel. Chennai – the capital city of Indian state Tamilnadu, located on the South Eastern coast of India, also known with its former name Madras. Overnight at hotel in Chennai.
Day 12: Chennai
Post breakfast take city tour visit the famous Santhome Church now proceed to Kapaleeswarar Temple and Marina beach. Overnight at hotel in Chennai.
Day 13: Chennai Departure
Post breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight for onwards journey.
