DAYWISE TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Paro
A flight to Paro is one of the world’s greatest mountain flights, offering ever-changing panoramas of some of the highest mountains on earth. This beautiful valley is home to some of Bhutan’s ancient monasteries and forts, as well as the country’s only international airport. Our representative will meet you at the airport and provide the necessary assistance to complete all immigration and customs formalities.
In the afternoon, visit Paro, including a visit to Ta Dzong, which houses the National Museum of Bhutan and exhibits religious relics, artworks, and handicrafts that provide a great orientation of Bhutan’s historical, cultural and religious past. Enjoy sightseeing in
Afterward, visit Rin Phong He Dzong to see paintings of the great Saint Milarepa, considered a master of meditation and believed by the Bhutanese people to have attained enlightenment. Day 2: Paro-Taktsang Monastery
Day 2 begins with a trek to the famous Taktsang Monastery after a delicious breakfast at the hotel. It is located on a cliff about 900 meters above the ground. It was the meditation cave of the great sage Guru Rinpoche. In the afternoon drive to Kichu Lhakhang. Kichu Monastery is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. It was built to subdue the demons terrorizing the people of the region.
Kichu is one of the oldest monasteries and contains many important relics. The 7th-century Joo Shakyamuni statue is considered one of the temple’s most important relics.
Day 3: Paro - Thimphu
After an early breakfast, he begins his day of sightseeing, visiting the Memorial Chorten (1974). The temple was first started by her third king as a memorial to world peace but was complicated by her queen dowager as a memorial stupa for the late King Jigmeoldji, her Wangchuck King who died in 1972.
One of his most important museums, the National Textile Museum, opened to the public in 2001. A visit to the museum provides an up-close and personal experience of the vibrant national textile arts, with rotating exhibits within the museum highlighting the key weaving techniques used to create beautiful Bhutanese textiles. It also gives you the chance to see the different styles and outfits of men and women from different parts of Bhutan. Tashi Cho Dzong:

Day 4: Thimphu - Punakha
Today we will drive 3 hours by car to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan. On the way, we will visit the Do Chula Pass. If the weather permits, we will stop at Do Chula for a while to see the Himalayas. On the way, visit Chimi Lhakhang edited by Lama Drukpa Kuenley. He subdued the demon with “Magic Raiden”. The temple is also called “the temple of fertility”.
After lunch, enjoy a trip to Yabesa village and trek through rice fields to Kamsam Yuery Namgyal Chorten.
Day 5: Punakha - Gangtey
Refreshed, he heads to Gangtey, on the way he visits the ruins (outside) of Wangdi Podangzong, built in 1638 and destroyed by fire in 2011. And now it’s being remodeled. Legend has it that when people were searching for the location of Dzong, four crows were seen flying in his four directions. Day 6: Gangtey to Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu for approximately 5-6 hours. In your leisure time, you can stroll around Thimphu town and visit other markets where you can pick up handicrafts and authentic Bhutanese products. Thimphu City Tour gives you the best insight into the development of Bhutan. You can visit the many international hotel chains, disco pubs, and karaoke to relax.
Day 07: From Paro
It’s time to leave early in the morning and go home. All that remains is to cherish the memories in Bhutan. Traski Derek.
